Enter Autumn

Enter Autumn
Autumn breaks the crisping shallows of leaves.
Autumn lets the rain pour down from the dark skies.
Autumn brings glowing pumpkins onto the porch.
Autumn lets the wind blow her hair around with cool fingers.
Autumn braces for Winter.
Winter comes smiling with white chattering teeth.
The two lovingly embrace.
Autumn leaves.

Sorry I haven't been posting poems as much this last month.  I've been busy with school and other stuff.  Here is one of my newer poems.  I'm in the process of creating my first chapbook of poetry.  It's required for my poetry writing class I'm in.  It's very neat though and I'm excited about it.  Feel free to leave a comment about this poem or if you're interested in having a copy of my chapbook that I'm creating.  It will contain poems I've written this semester.  ~T
